Event Description

Introducing Lendio Northern Vermont's CrowdPitch event, which can best be described as Shark Tank meets Business Banking. Looking for a business loan or to take your business to the next level? We're giving business owners the opportunity to practice pitching their business growth plan and receive valuable feedback from a panel of experts. Not only will this help you gain visibility in the business community but it will also let the community know what resources you need to grow your business (partners, services, funding, connections, talent). All in attendance will gain valuable tips and feedback on how they can best secure financing for their business.

CrowdPitch is free to apply to, attend, and present at and FREE food and drinks will be provided. Our event will be a fun and educational way to spend lunchtime. Attendees are encouraged to stick around and network with other entrepreneurs, business owners, bankers, investors and business groups in the community.

Here's How it Works:

Presenting Companies
We'll select 3-4 companies to pitch their business goals to an audience of their peers and a panel of experts. Coaching is available prior to the event to help them prepare their pitch. Presenters have 5 minutes to "pitch" and wow the audience before a 3 minute Q&A with the panel and crowd and 2 minutes of panel feedback.

Audience Participation
At the conclusion of the pitches, the audience and panel “invest” FUN money with the company whose pitch/plan impressed them the most. Each audience member receives $100 in Lendio chips, while panel members get $500.

The Winner
The company who receives the largest “investment” of Lendio chips from the audience and panel wins. The winning business will receive a valuable prize package of $5,000+ in business services from our sponsors.

Apply to Pitch

Click on the Apply button below and fill out a short form with your name, business name, a short summary of what your businesses does to make money, and how much capital you need to take your business to the next level. You'll then receive a CrowdPitch Application and Guidelines packet with next steps and instructions on how to formally apply. Email or call (802) 448-4480 with any questions.

  • Final pitch applications due by 8/2
  • Pre-screening interviews done by 8/9
  • Only 3-4 applicants will be chosen
  • Presenters will be notified by 8/13
